Overview of Hikvision DS-KD-E
The Hikvision DS-KD-E brings EM card access to the KD8 Series modular door station. Users swipe an EM card to unlock the door, and new cards can be issued at the unit. Connected to the main unit over RS-485, the module offers backlighting, IP65 protection and flush or surface mounting for a neat, weatherproof installation. It is a convenient upgrade for buildings that already use EM proximity cards, including apartment blocks, compounds, offices and villa gates in Saudi Arabia.
