The Hikvision DS-7608NXI-I2/S is a 1U network video recorder for up to 8 IP cameras, recording at up to 12 MP with H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compression to save bandwidth and storage. Deep-learning analytics bring perimeter protection and facial recognition, and up to 8 IP speakers can be connected for audible deterrence. Cameras connect over the local network through an external PoE switch, giving flexible cabling for larger layouts. It offers 2 SATA interfaces (up to 8 TB each), 4K HDMI output, 2 Gigabit network ports and 4/1 alarm in/out. A practical choice for villas, offices, retail shops and small warehouses across Saudi Arabia.

How much recording storage will I need?

Prepare the number of cameras, desired retention period, recording schedule and proposed image settings. Ask for a storage estimate based on these inputs and an allowance for variation; a disk capacity alone does not guarantee a fixed number of days.

What should I check for outdoor camera installation?

Review the model’s documented environmental rating and operating conditions, then plan sheltered connections, suitable cable routes and a serviceable mounting point. Installation details should be confirmed for the actual location, not inferred from the camera’s appearance.
